The money tree doesn’t look good? How to prune, see how flower lovers do it

Summer pruning

When pruning, you should cut off the branches that grow too fast, leaving about 10 cm (3-4 buds) at the base of the strong branches, and all other upper branches can be cut off. All sick and weak branches must be cut off from the base, because their ability to sprout new buds is too weak, and if left, they will compete with other strong branches for nutrients, so they must be cut off.

Post-cut management

After pruning the money tree, control the amount of watering and do not let it get wet in the rain or spray water on the plant, otherwise it will easily cause the cut ends or roots to rot. It is best to place it in a place with scattered light or shade.

Flower lovers' pruning cases

1. Before pruning. This is the shape after one pruning. It is a complete failure and it is no longer stylish, so I couldn’t bear it and decided to prune it again.

2. After pruning, leave 1 or 2 buds and cut off the rest. I was worried before whether this would work, but practice has proved that as long as the moisture is well controlled, there will be no problem, so don’t worry.

3. 22 days after pruning, new shoots have appeared. 25 days after pruning, new leaves will grow.

4. One month after pruning, you can already see its shape. It is much better looking than before.
