Egg shells can be used to grow flowers in this way! Practical and fun! Why didn’t you tell me earlier!

Natural flower fertilizer

Eggshells are rich in phosphorus and calcium, which can promote plant cell division, the development of roots and flower buds, and improve the plant's drought and cold resistance. It is a rare fertilizer. After washing and drying the eggshells, break them into pieces as much as possible and sprinkle them directly into the basin.

compost

Washing, drying, crushing and mixing eggshells with other soil will make a great compost material that can increase the nutrients in the soil, especially calcium. But be careful not to mix it with alkaline soil.

Deworming

The eggshells, after being dried and crushed, can also be used to repel insects. If there are snails and slugs infesting the flower pots, you might want to put some eggshell fragments on the surface of the pots. This is quite effective for these small mollusks.

Seedling container

Egg shells also make great mini seedling containers. Of course, this will test your hands-on ability. You need to carefully make the eggshell into a container and punch holes in the bottom for drainage. When the seedlings grow 3 to 4 true leaves, they can be transplanted into pots. If you want to save trouble, you can transplant the egg shells directly.

DIY Mini Plant Pots

If you are dexterous, you might as well use your hands to DIY a small eggshell potted plant, and plant some small and exquisite plants such as Rainbow Jade, Yachiyo, and Ji Qiuli in the eggshell. Not only will it be full of artistic sense, but you will also feel a sense of accomplishment!
