How to transplant and repot perfume grass

How to repot perfume grass

We need to turn the flowerpot where the perfume grassland was planted upside down, and be careful to hold the soil at the opening of the flowerpot. Then grab the bottom of the flowerpot with your other hand, shake it gently, pull the flowerpot upwards, pull out the plant along with the entire pot of soil, and then gently shake off the soil at the roots. Then prepare to change the flower pot and soil. Moisten the soil thoroughly one week in advance, let it sit for a week, and then you can plant the removed scented grass in the new pot. Wait a week after transplanting before you start watering.

Time to repot perfume grass

After we cultivate the seedlings of scented grass, the roots of the scented grass will grow rapidly. It takes about two or three months for the scented grass to germinate and bloom. During this period, we can repot it once or twice, because repotting is conducive to the growth of the roots of the scented grass and also makes the scented grass plants grow stronger.

Fertilizer management after repotting perfume grass

After changing the pot, the fragrant grass should be fertilized appropriately. Scented fragrant grass requires more fertilizer during its growth period, so during this period we need to apply some relatively dilute and well-rotted cake fertilizer to it about every week. If it is planted on a farm, some fermented animal manure liquid fertilizer can also be applied. On the other hand, we can also apply some comprehensive compound fertilizers to the fragrant grass every two or three weeks. However, please note that it is not suitable to apply fertilizer when the weather is hot in summer or very cold in winter.
