How to hydroponics

Cuttings

Remove leaves at the base and cut at an angle: Before putting the cuttings into the vase, remove the leaves at the base and use a sharp knife to cut the base into an angle. The blade should be smooth to increase the absorption area for water and nutrients.

Water volume control in hydroponic containers

To control the amount of water and use it selectively, the water only needs to fill about one-third to two-thirds of the bottle. And before roots grow, you need to change the water frequently, maybe once every 3-4 days. After roots grow, you almost don't need to change the water, just add an appropriate amount of water into the bottle. In summer when the weather is dry, you should spray more water on the leaves.

Hydroponics precautions

Temperature control

It is important to control the temperature of indoor lotus bamboo water cultivation, because lotus bamboo prefers warmth, and 16 to 25 degrees is moderate. It is not suitable for cultivation in cold places, and anti-freeze measures must be taken.

Light and airy

To ensure that the lotus bamboo has sufficient lighting time, even if it is grown indoors, it is necessary to expose the lotus bamboo to sunlight moderately and place it in a ventilated and well-lit place.

Fertilization

When some flower lovers went to buy lotus bamboo, the seller said that it only needed to be grown in clean water, but no fertilizer was applied. Later, the leaves turned yellow. In fact, fertilizer is also required for hydroponics.

Depending on the actual situation, fertilizer can be applied once every 30 days on average. Moderate fertilization can keep the leaves green and stretched for a long time, or adding an appropriate amount of culture solution will also do.
