1. Pepper

The string pepper is called string pepper because of its slender shape. This pepper variety is very common in the country. String peppers have strong adaptability and a certain degree of drought and cold resistance. They are mainly grown on a large scale in Shaanxi and other regions.

2. Yunnan Chili Pepper

Yunnan chili pepper is short and round, with an average aroma but very spicy. When it is immature, it is golden yellow and has a fresh fragrance. When it is ripe, it turns bright red and becomes spicier. It is usually harvested in autumn.

3. Pepper

The Chaotian pepper, also known as the Wangtian pepper, is a type of pepper with a relatively high spiciness. This variety is smaller than ordinary peppers, but its spiciness is several times that of ordinary peppers. Chili pepper is loved by people who like spicy food.

4. Yunnan Hotpot

Yunnan Shabu Shabu is not big in size, with wrinkled skin. It is red when ripe, with bright color and very spicy taste. Most of the shabu-shabu peppers are wild, have low yields, poor adaptability to the environment, and have high requirements for the soil, air and other growth environments during their growth period. Therefore, they are rare peppers.

5. Bell Pepper

Bell pepper is also called colored pepper. This variety of pepper has a mild spicy taste and can be eaten as a vegetable or as a seasoning. It comes in a variety of colors, the most common ones are purple, red, and yellow. This pepper variety has strong adaptability and a wide cultivation range. It is cultivated in many provinces and regions of my country.

6. Green pepper

Green peppers are characterized by larger fruits and less spicy taste. They are generally not used as seasonings but eaten as vegetables. It has bright green color, and newly cultivated varieties include red, yellow, purple, etc. It is widely used as a side dish.

7. Bell pepper

After long-term cultivation and artificial selection, the fruit of sweet peppers has increased in size, the flesh has become thicker, and the spicy taste has disappeared. This pepper variety has strong adaptability and a wide distribution range, and is cultivated in large quantities in both the north and south of my country. It is mainly used as a side dish or vegetable.

8. Hot pepper

Hot pepper is also called big pepper, pointed pepper, sweet pepper, Qin pepper, etc. It can be eaten directly when ripe, or it can be dried and made into dried chili. The spiciness is average. This pepper variety has strong adaptability and is cultivated in most parts of my country and is widely grown.
