What to do if the leaves of the lucky tree droop

What to do if the leaves of the lucky tree droop

1. Increase lighting

The lucky tree prefers sunlight. If it is placed in a place without sunlight for a long time, its leaves will droop even if there is sufficient water and nutrients, so it is necessary to increase the light appropriately. If conditions permit, you can place it in the sun for a long time. If not, then you should place it in the sun for at least 3 hours a day.

2. Reduce watering

Although the lucky tree prefers a humid environment, this does not mean that the soil in the pot can be too humid for a long time (except for hydroponics), and there should be no accumulation of water in the pot, otherwise its roots will not be able to absorb water and nutrients normally, and the leaves will not be able to grow normally, and will slowly droop and lose vitality. Stop watering at this time, and resume watering when the upper 1 cm of the potting soil is dry.

3. Natural phenomena

During the winter, when the difference between high and low temperatures is too large, the indoor temperature is low, or the indoor ventilation is poor in winter, the leaves of the lucky tree are prone to drooping. This is a normal, natural reaction. Just normal maintenance is needed.

4. Repotting and slowing down the seedlings

Repotting and acclimatizing the seedlings may also cause the leaves of the lucky tree to droop, but there is no need to worry. Because when you change the pot, its roots will be damaged to some extent, so the leaves will droop. At this time, you just need to place the plant in a sunny place and let it recover slowly.
