1. Maintenance methods

1. Substrate selection: Ornamental bamboo has certain requirements for soil. It needs acidic soil with good air permeability and drainage. It will grow well if it is mixed with leaf mold, fine sand and loam.

2. Temperature management: It has a strong ability to adapt to temperature. The annual average temperature is around 15 degrees Celsius, and around 6 degrees Celsius in winter.

3. Nutrient management: Ornamental bamboo needs to be provided with necessary nutrients during its growth period. It likes sufficient fertilizer and organic fertilizer must be used as base fertilizer to facilitate its growth.

4. Water management: It likes a humid environment but cannot have water accumulation. It needs to be watered enough during the growth process as long as the soil is moist. Excessive watering will cause root rot and plant death.

2. Breeding techniques

1. Wintering: It can withstand the cold weather in winter, but it must be placed in a sheltered environment to safely survive the winter.

2. Summer: In summer, keep it in a cool environment, avoid exposure to high temperatures, and keep it moist.
