Pruning of seedlings

Pruning should be considered from the seedling stage, mainly to remove excess branches. If these excess upward-growing branches are not pruned in time, they will absorb some water and nutrients, causing all branches to not get enough water and nutrients and become thinner. When the flowering period comes, flower buds cannot be formed and fruit cannot be produced. When pruning it, choose the stronger and thicker branches to keep, and cut off the rest. This will allow the stronger and thicker branches to get more water and nutrients, laying a good foundation for flowering and fruiting in advance. Pruning of seedlings is done approximately every 10 days.

Pinching

When the plant grows to a height of 10 cm, it can be pinched, but this pinching is not the ordinary pinching like other plants. It requires using a sharp knife to cut flatly at the top of the plant, and the cut wound is smooth. The best place to pinch the tip is 5 to 6 cm from the plant. It is not recommended to break it directly with your hands, as this will cause unnecessary damage to the plant and will also have a great impact on the recovery of the wound.

Pruning of branches

These branches are only the branches when the plant is in bloom. Keep the ones with better flowering and thicker branches, and the rest need to be pruned. At this time, many friends are worried that pruning will affect the number of fruits, but not pruning at this time will lead to a decline in the quality of all fruits.
