Aloe vera is a perennial plant of the Asphodeloides family and the genus Aloe. It is an evergreen herb and an ornamental plant. Its origin is in the tropical arid regions of Africa, and now its cultivation areas are distributed all over the world, including many areas in my country.

2. Morphological characteristics

Aloe vera is a succulent plant with a relatively short stem. Its leaves are distributed in clusters. They are relatively thick and juicy. Their shape is linear-lanceolate. The leaves are pink-green in color, about 15-35 cm in length, and have sharp thorns on the edges. It can bloom, with a scape height of about 60-90 cm. The flowers are light yellow with red spots.

3. Growth habits

Aloe vera likes to grow in sandy nutrient soil with good water permeability and air permeability, and does not like heavy clay soil. It loves light very much and cannot lack sunlight during its growth. It also has strong drought resistance, but it must have enough water during the growing period and not watered too much to avoid waterlogging. The suitable temperature for its growth is about 20-30 degrees Celsius, so you should keep warm in winter.
