The difference between Hawaiian coconut and rich coconut

The difference between Hawaiian coconut and rich coconut

1. Different leaves

Hawaiian coconuts have relatively few leaves. The upper part has a few leaves, while the lower part has no leaves, or the leaves look very sparse, and are relatively elegant and flowing.

The rich coconut palm has relatively many leaves. The leaves on both the upper and lower parts are very lush and dense. The shape feels very graceful, and the surface of each leaf is very shiny and beautiful.

2. Different stem nodes

The stem of Hawaiian coconut looks like bamboo, with nodes on it, and looks relatively slender.

There are no nodes on the stem of the rich coconut, and the surface is relatively smooth.

3. Different fruits

The fruit of Hawaiian coconut is orange-red in color, about 0.8 cm in diameter, and turns black later.

The fruit color of the rich coconut is different from the former. It is green before it is ripe and turns reddish brown after it is ripe.

4. Different varieties

Although the two look similar, they are different plants. They both belong to the palm family, but the former is a plant of the genus Areca, while the latter is a plant of the genus Areca, so there are some differences between them.
