The difference between Datura and Morning Glory

1. Leaf Difference

The leaves of Datura are oval or broad oval in shape, relatively long, with irregular wavy shallow cracks, and the cracks are not very large.

The leaves of morning glory are relatively round with deep or shallow cracks on them. Sometimes they have three cracks, and sometimes they have five cracks, and the cracks are relatively deep.

Datura usually grows solitary at branch forks or leaf axils. The flowers are funnel-shaped, relatively slender, with the edges curled upward and with five shallow cracks. The lobes are triangular. The color of the flowers is relatively simple, the upper part is white or lavender, and the lower part is green.

Morning glory is usually axillary, with one or two flowers growing at the top of the peduncle. Although the corolla is also funnel-shaped, it is relatively short and round. The colors of the flowers are quite diverse, including purple-blue, white, purple-red, etc.
