How to grow Kinokawa succulent

How to grow Kinokawa succulent

1. Soil

This kind of succulent plant generally prefers soil with better air permeability and drainage, so we must be careful when choosing the soil. Generally, we find some peat soil mixed with a little perlite and a little coal slag. The purpose of doing this is to isolate the plant from the surface of the soil, so that the soil can be more breathable. We can also spread a thin layer of clean river sand or pumice on the surface of the soil. So soil is also very important and can help it grow better.

2. Moisture

When watering it, we must remember that if it is already dry, we must water it thoroughly when watering. When it is dormant in the summer, we usually water it about three times a month. Don't water it too much. You can also give it some water on the edge of the pot so that its roots will not die due to being too dry. When watering, be sure to make sure that no water remains on the center of the leaves, otherwise it will easily breed bacteria and cause it to rot. In winter, if the temperature is lower than five degrees, then you should slowly cut off the watering. If the temperature is below three degrees, you don't need to water it anymore. Be sure to keep the soil in the pot dry. When watering, try to get as much water into the soil as possible. So watering is also very important.

3. Sunlight

In spring and autumn, it grows very fast. At this time, we can expose it to light all day long to allow it to absorb more sunlight. In the summer when the temperature is high, we need to block the sun appropriately and prevent it from being exposed to the sun's scorching heat. In the winter when the light is relatively weak, we need to move it to a sunny place as much as possible so that it can get more sun.
