A few drops of lucky bamboo nutrient solution

A few drops of lucky bamboo nutrient solution

1. Add a few drops of nutrient solution

There are many types of nutrient solutions for lucky bamboo, and the concentrations vary, so the dosage is also different. If you use brandy, generally 1-2 drops every three weeks will be enough. If you use aspirin, add half a tablet to 500 grams of water to make a solution, and add 2-3 drops of water when needed.

2. Precautions

1. Concentration: No matter what kind of nutrient solution is used, the concentration must be strictly controlled. Like fertilizer, too high a concentration can easily burn the roots of lucky bamboo, so it needs to be diluted with water. It is better to use a low concentration and slow effect to avoid the risk of root damage.

2. Interval: The interval between dripping nutrient solution should be longer. The water-cultured lucky bamboo itself does not absorb much water, so there is no need to add water every day. Just drip it in when water is needed. If the effect lasts for a long time, the interval can be longer.

3. Homemade: If you are not confident about the purchased nutrient solution, you can also make it yourself. However, a lot of raw materials are required, including ammonium bisulfate, ammonium nitrate, calcium sulfate, copper sulfate, boric acid, etc. Moreover, if one of them is missing, it may be impossible to produce the product, and the process is rather complicated. It is not recommended for novices to make their own nutrient solution.
