How to grow geranium

How to grow geranium

1. Moisture control

When raising it, be sure not to water it too much. Under normal circumstances, water it once every 2-3 days, and water the soil thoroughly. Do not overwater it, do not let it be exposed to rain, and the temperature should not be too low when watering in winter.

2. Adjust the temperature

The temperature most suitable for its growth is around 10-20℃, so spring and autumn are also the times when it grows more vigorously. The temperatures in summer and winter can be very extreme, so make more adjustments during maintenance and try to keep them within the appropriate range.

3. Lighting requirements

In spring, autumn and winter, it can be placed in direct sunlight. During maintenance, it should be exposed to sunlight as much as possible. If it is kept in a dark place, it is very likely that it will not bloom. It needs to be placed in a shaded place in midsummer, and be sure not to expose it to direct sunlight. Turn the flower pot more often when it sees light.

4. Prevention and control of diseases and pests

When growing geraniums, you must pay attention to preventing and controlling diseases and pests. The most common ones are wilt and leaf spot. Pay attention to ventilation and avoid other diseased plants. Once the disease occurs, medication must be used immediately. If the disease is serious, it will endanger its normal growth.
