Cultivation methods and precautions of the lucky tree

Cultivation methods and precautions of the lucky tree

1. Adequate light

The lucky tree has requirements for light. It prefers sunlight and is relatively shade-tolerant. During its growth period, it should be kept under bright light and maintain sufficient sunlight, which can promote its healthy growth and the extension of branches and leaves. The lucky tree cannot grow in a dark and light-deficient location for a long time, otherwise it will cause yellowing and falling leaves. The sunlight is strong in the summer, so you should pay attention to proper shading and avoid direct strong sunlight.

2. Water and Fertilizer Management

The lucky tree likes moisture and is generally watered about twice a week. The frequency of watering is not fixed. Generally, we adhere to the principle of watering when the soil is dry and watering thoroughly to keep the soil slightly moist. In addition to keeping the soil moist, the lucky tree also needs to be sprayed with water to maintain good humidity, which can also make the leaves green and beautiful. During the growing season of the lucky tree, fertilize it once a month and spray 0.3% potassium dihydrogen phosphate solution on the leaves 2-3 times.

3. Temperature requirements

The suitable temperature for the growth of the lucky tree is 20-30℃. It likes a warm growing environment, is resistant to high temperatures, and is afraid of cold. During the hot summer, when the surrounding temperature exceeds 30℃, it is necessary to build a shed for shade, strengthen ventilation, and lower the temperature of the growing environment. When winter comes, you should keep warm.

4. Suitable soil

The lucky tree should be grown in loose, breathable, fertile, slightly acidic soil, which can be prepared with 5 parts of garden soil, 3 parts of leaf mold, 1 part of decomposed organic fertilizer, and 1 part of river sand.

5. Notes

Pay attention to pruning the lucky tree, keep it well ventilated, and cut off dead branches, rotten leaves and yellow leaves in time.
