1. Time SelectionIn June, dig out the dormant bulbs, or buy the bulbs directly, dry them and store them in a ventilated and cool place, keep them dry, and plant them in October. 2. Prepare the loamChoose sandy soil or sandy loam with good drainage, preferably rich in humus, and expose it to sunlight for disinfection before use. Loosen the loam soil before planting. 3. Processing of bulbsSoak the bulbs in 1000 times diluted thiophanate-methyl and 1000 times diluted mite remover for disinfection. The entire bulb needs to be completely immersed in it to achieve the disinfection effect. The time should be controlled at about 20 minutes and should not be too long, exceeding half a day. After disinfection, place it in a cool place to dry and plant it on the same day. 4. PlantingPlant the bulbs so that the top is 4-5cm above the soil surface. Keep the temperature below 12 degrees Celsius. After planting, if the soil in the pot feels dry, you can water it appropriately to facilitate rooting. It will develop well in about half a month, and can be moved into the greenhouse after the root system is fully developed. |
