How often should I water the longevity flower?

When growing Kalanchoe, water it every 5 days in spring and autumn until the soil is moist. In summer, water evaporates quickly, so you need to replenish water in time, watering it every 2 days or so. In winter, Kalanchoe grows slowly, so you can water it once every half a month.

The correct way to water Kalanchoe

When watering the Kalanchoe, be sure to water the soil thoroughly. Do not use too much water at one time. Try to keep the water temperature similar to the temperature of the surrounding environment so that the roots of the Kalanchoe will not be scalded or frozen. If the temperature is below 8℃ in winter, you do not need to water it to prevent the roots from being unable to absorb a large amount of water. Long-term accumulation of water will cause the roots of the Kalanchoe to rot.

When watering, do not use too much water, and do not water the roots of the Kalanchoe, otherwise the soil around the roots will become thinner, and the roots will be exposed for a long time and cause damage. It is best to water by drawing circles along the edge of the flowerpot, which will allow the Kalanchoe to better absorb water.

Overwatering of Kalanchoe

If you water the Kalanchoe too much, the leaves will turn yellow and become soft, and in severe cases, the leaves will fall off. You should remove the plant from the pot and cut off the rotten roots.

In addition, we need to take it to a well-ventilated place to allow the moisture to evaporate faster. The original soil must also be disinfected and dried, or replaced directly.
