How to grow Weeping Guanyin indoors

How to grow Weeping Guanyin indoors

1. Suitable soil

Don't choose particularly sticky soil, choose loose and breathable soil. A mixture of garden soil, leaf mold and fine sand is more suitable.

2. Adequate light

Indoors, light requires special attention. If the light is not enough, its leaves will easily turn yellow. You need to find a place with sufficient diffuse light but not too strong light, such as near a windowsill to place it. Just give it about three hours of sunlight a day. If it is in the flowering period, it can be increased appropriately.

3. Suitable temperature

The most suitable temperature range for it is between 20-25℃. Don't let the temperature drop below 18 degrees, as it will be detrimental to its growth. It also cannot be too high, not exceeding 30 degrees in summer.

4. Sufficient water

Watering should be timely, especially when it is very hot in summer. In addition, it also has requirements for relative humidity in the air, especially in summer, you can spray some water on the leaves at noon. If the winter temperature is suitable, you can continue watering.

5. Appropriate amount of fertilizer

Mainly nitrogen fertilizer. Apply once every two weeks. Be careful when applying it and do not get the fertilizer on the leaves or flowers. When iron deficiency occurs, ferrous sulfate can be supplemented.

6. Notes

It is poisonous in itself, so when growing it indoors, special attention should be paid to its toxicity. Watch its juices and the drops of water that drip from it. If you have touched it, be sure to wash your hands in time before touching anything else.
