How to identify iron chopsticks

1. Blades

The leaves of the iron chopstick plant are kidney-shaped or pentagonal, relatively wide, about 7.5-16 cm long and 14-24 cm wide. It is three-part chicken-foot-shaped, the middle lobe is oblanceolate with dense serrations on the edge, the side lobes have short petioles and are fan-shaped, and the petiole is about 20-24 cm long. The stem leaves are relatively small, with the middle lobes narrowly elliptic.

2. Flowers

It usually has 1-2 flowers, which grow at the ends of branches or stems and bloom when the leaves are basal. The sepals are pink at first, turn green during the fruiting stage, and are oval or narrow oval. There are 8-10 petals, which are light yellow-green in color, cylindrical and funnel-shaped, with short petioles. The anthers are oval and the filaments are narrow linear. It blooms in April every year.
