1. Differences between tree trunks

The sycamore can grow up to 10 meters tall, but its trunk is very short and has many branches.

An adult wax apple tree is about 3 meters tall and remains evergreen all year round.

2. Flower Differences

The cymes of Syzygium wilfordii are terminal, broadly ovate in shape, with white flowers and a diameter of 3 to 4 cm.

The wax apple has terminal or axillary cymes, about 5 to 6 cm long, with white flowers.

3. Leaf Difference

The leaves of the sycamore are leathery, oblong or lanceolate. 15 to 25 cm long and 3 to 4.5 cm wide.

The leaves of wax apple are thin leathery, oblong or elliptical, 10 to 22 cm long and 6 to 8 cm wide, with obtuse or slightly pointed apex and narrowed base.

4. Fruit Difference

The fruit of the sycamore is spherical, with a fleshy peel and a diameter between 3 cm and 5 cm. The fruit turns yellow when ripe.

The fruit of the wax apple is either pear-shaped or conical, and comes in colors such as turquoise and magenta. It is brightly colored, fleshy, and about 4 to 4 cm long.
