When does jasmine bloom?

When does jasmine bloom?

1. Flowering period

If the plant is well cared for, it can flower up to three times a year, from late May to early November. Specifically, it is divided into three periods, the first one is in early June, the second one is in early August, and the third one is from early September to early October. If it is not well maintained, it will not bloom again after blooming once, or even not once a year.

2. Specific time

Jasmine usually produces flower buds during the day, and we can observe that its flower buds obviously change from green to white. At night, its flowers bloom. Around 8 to 10 o'clock in the evening, it will be in full bloom. But don’t worry, the flowers will only fade in three to four days, so you can still enjoy them during the day.

3. Maintenance during flowering period

We have mentioned above that if the plant is not properly maintained, it will not bloom, and even if it does, the flowering time will be very short. Therefore, maintenance during the flowering period is very important. There are several aspects to note:

(1) Fertilizer: Apply fertilizer about twice a week. Organic liquid fertilizer can be used.

(2) Light: Ensure sufficient light during the flowering period and place the plant in a bright place.

(3) Water: There should be sufficient water, and water should be applied once a day depending on the situation.

(4) Pruning: After the flowers wither, it is best to prune them to prevent them from consuming too much nutrients.
