How to grow spruce

How to grow spruce

1. Soil

Spruce likes fertile, well-drained sandy soil, and slightly acidic soil is best, which is more conducive to its growth.

2. Water

When growing spruce, the soil must be kept moist and never allowed to dry out. Water it more frequently during its growing season, and make sure to water it thoroughly. If its leaves become droopy or wilted, water it in time. Try not to water it at noon in summer, otherwise it will cause disease. Take drainage measures in time when there is too much rain.

3. Lighting

Spruce does not need too much direct sunlight to grow, especially when the sunlight is strong in summer, you should take shading measures in time or move it directly to a cool place. To keep the air sufficiently moist, you can spray water appropriately when the weather is dry to increase the humidity of the air.

4. Fertilization

There is no need for excessive fertilization, 2-4 times a year is enough. It is best to choose spring and summer to fertilize, and stop fertilizing in autumn to prevent it from being frozen in winter. If the soil is dry after fertilizing, water it in time.
