Daisy cultivation methods and precautions

Daisy cultivation methods and precautions

1. Watering

Daisies have relatively high requirements for water during their budding period. You need to water them more often and not let the soil dry out. After their seedlings grow out, you need to reduce the number and frequency of watering and wait until the soil is dry before watering again.

2. Fertilization

The nutrients in the soil alone are difficult to meet the growth needs of daisies, so regular topdressing is required. During the growing season, apply fertilizer once a week. You can choose fertilizer specifically for daisies or some compound fertilizer. It needs to be diluted before use to avoid burning the roots of the plants.

3. Lighting

Daisies love light, and exposing them to more sunlight during their growth period can make their leaves greener and allow them to grow faster. Receiving it a certain amount of light during the flowering period can make it bloom more beautiful flowers.

4. Temperature

Daisies like coolness and are afraid of heat. They are slightly cold-resistant and suitable for growing in an environment of 18-22℃. In summer, the temperature should be set below 25℃ and in winter, the temperature should be set above 5℃. When it is about to bloom, the temperature should be adjusted to between 10-25℃ so that it can bloom healthy flowers.

5. Notes

1. Soil. Daisies have good adaptability to soil, so garden soil can be used for home cultivation.

2. Drainage. During the rainy season, the rainfall is relatively high. If the daisy is exposed to rain, rainwater may accumulate in its flowerpot, which will cause the roots of the plant to rot. Therefore, drainage should be carried out in time after rain.
