The difference between Acacia and Dianthus

The difference between Acacia and Dianthus

1. Acacia

It belongs to the Caryophyllaceae family and is a plant that can survive for many years. Its flowers are shaped like a cluster of racemes, are very large, and usually grow at the top of the branches. It is usually only planted for two years, the stem is very smooth, and the number of branches is relatively large. It likes sunlight, can tolerate severe cold, can endure drought, is afraid of waterlogging, and likes well-drained, breathable and fertile soil, preferably sandy soil. It originates from southern Europe, and grows more in the hotter southern my country region. It is grown in many places across the country. Its legend is very beautiful, expressing the longing for the loved one far away. It has a very nice name and many people like it.

2. Dianthus

It also belongs to the Caryophyllaceae family and is generally cultivated as a biennial flower. The leaves grow in a pair against each other and are generally linear or broad needle-shaped. The flowers are solitary and come in colors such as pink, purple, and white. There are not only single-petal types, but also double-petal types, all of which are very fragrant. Generally, flowers can grow from April to October, and many of them bloom in April and May. Its seeds are round, but relatively flat and dark brown. If you want to keep it indoors, it is recommended to place it on the balcony, because it prefers sunlight and does not need to be watered frequently. As long as you don't ignore it for a long time, there will be no problems.

3. Difference

1. These two flowers belong to the same family, but there are still differences between them. First of all, the shape of the flowers. The latter has longer leaves, like lanceolates, and grows opposite each other. The flowers are relatively large and have serrated edges. The former is a horticultural variety of the latter. The plants of the former are more firm, harder and more brittle. The inflorescence has mutated and become a racemose, with many flowers clustered together.

2. The latter has more colors than the former, and the latter also has a complex-colored flower with red and white edges. If used as cut flowers, the latter is generally made into a bunch of different colors, while the former is generally made into a bunch of one color.
