Cultivation methods and precautions of lucky bamboo cage

Cultivation methods and precautions of lucky bamboo cage

1. Lighting

It generally prefers scattered light and is not conducive to it being exposed to strong light. In addition, it prefers to grow in warm, humid and secluded places, so it does not need much light. But what I want to say here is that even if it likes a hidden environment, you can't let it stay there for too long, otherwise, the plant will continue to grow too tall and may not even bloom. We need to occasionally place it in a sunny place on the balcony and receive proper light so that the plant can grow better.

2. Watering

As we said before, it generally likes a moister place, so before planting, we can water it appropriately, which will facilitate its root absorption and promote the growth of the plant. But remember, do not let the soil in the pot be too moist, otherwise the roots will easily rot and affect the normal breathing of the plant.

3. Temperature

It likes warm places. The warmth here refers to the right temperature, not too high or too low. This is the most suitable temperature condition for its growth. If the temperature is too low, here it means in winter, the growth of the plant will be hindered, which will directly cause the leaves to turn yellow, and in severe cases, the plant will die. Of course, the temperature cannot be too high. We are talking about summer here. If the temperature is too high, the plant will absorb nutrients too quickly, resulting in insufficient nutrients, which will hinder the growth of the plant and cause the leaves to turn yellow. So we must adjust the temperature before planting.

4. Fertilization

When fertilizing the flowers, you must control the amount and not fertilize them crazily in order to speed up their growth. Generally, during its growth period, the dosage will be appropriately increased to meet its nutrient needs. However, after the growing period, the amount of fertilizer needed at other times is generally not much. If you continue to apply it excessively, it will easily cause the plant to grow too tall and affect flowering. Therefore, it is not advisable to apply too much fertilizer, it depends on when to apply it.
