Can the green radish survive if it is frozen to death?

Can the green radish survive if it is frozen to death?

Whether it can be saved depends on the degree of freezing.

Case 1: All the leaves have turned yellow, but the trunk of the plant is still there, so the plant can be saved.

After being frozen, all its leaves turn yellow and there is no trace of life, but its trunk is still green and not too shriveled, and it looks like it still has a trace of life. In this case, don't throw the plant away. Just change the environment for maintenance. The temperature should be around 20 degrees, and then you can wait for it to slowly revive.

Case 2: The leaves and trunk are all yellow or rotten, and in this case it is too late to save the plant.

The leaves and the trunk have shriveled or rotted. There is no doubt about this phenomenon, so there is no need to save it. You can only throw it away and grow it in a new pot.

Precautions for breeding in winter

Let’s talk about the temperature first. You don’t need to worry too much about the temperature in the south, but in the north, you have to be careful. The temperature in winter cannot drop to 10 degrees, otherwise frost damage will occur. If you keep it indoors, you don’t need to worry too much about the temperature. Generally, the indoor temperature is above 18 degrees.

If the leaves wilt and turn yellow in winter, you should pay attention to whether the temperature is too low. When frost damage occurs, the plant will first show this condition.

Be sure not to overwater in winter unless your temperature can be maintained above 20 degrees. The more you water it during low temperatures, the less frost-resistant it will be. Under the same low temperature conditions, it is best to stop fertilizing.
