Cultivation methods and precautions of zebra aloe

Farming methods

Watering: It is native to the tropical arid areas of southern Africa, so it is relatively drought-resistant, but this does not mean that it can survive in drier soil for a long time. The soil should be kept dry on a daily basis and kept moist during the growing season. It will begin to hibernate in winter and summer. At this time, you should reduce watering and keep the soil relatively dry.

Fertilizer: Its demand for fertilizer is not too high. It only needs to be fertilized 1 to 2 times in the spring every year, and once a month during the growing season.

Temperature: 15-23℃ is its best growth temperature. It can hibernate when it is above 33℃ and below 7℃, but it will be frozen at 4 degrees. It is best to grow it above 10 degrees in winter.

Sunlight: Although it likes sunlight, it still needs to avoid it when summer comes. It can grow in the sun all day in other seasons. If there is not enough light, the leaves of the plant will not be full and plump, and their color will not be bright.

Note:

Too wet soil will cause its roots to rot, its leaves to curl up, etc., which is very bad for them.

Long-term exposure to abundant sunlight will cause plants to grow too tall.

Do not allow water and fertilizer to splash onto the plants.

In summer, air circulation should be increased. Excessive heat and stuffiness is not good for plant growth.
