The cultivation methods and precautions of Lespedeza

The cultivation methods and precautions of Lespedeza

Temperature requirements

It has very strong cold resistance and can withstand ultra-low temperatures of minus 30 degrees Celsius in winter, but it cannot be covered by ice and snow. When it comes to resuming growth the following year, the temperature must be kept above 5 degrees. Generally, growth can be resumed around May in the north and around April in other areas.

Soil requirements

Its roots are very developed and can adapt to different soils, so it does not have any high requirements for the soil. It can even repair the soil. If it is planted in places where it has been planted for more than 3 years, its yield will increase.

Lighting requirements

There is no problem in placing it directly outdoors for cultivation, as it has strong resistance and does not have sunlight. However, if it is cultivated indoors for a long time, do not move it directly outdoors for cultivation. The environmental difference is too great, which will have a great impact on its health. The same is true for other plants.

Water requirements

You can water the plants when the soil surface is completely dry, but do not allow water to accumulate. If growing the plants outdoors, drain the water regularly on rainy days.

Fertilizer requirements

It does not require much fertilizer. You can apply some fertilizer when planting the seedlings. If the nutrients contained in the soil are sufficient, no further fertilizer is needed during the entire breeding process.

Weed control

From the beginning of planting, you need to weed it regularly, as too many weeds will affect its normal growth.

Post-planting care

When the seedlings are first planted, in order to make the plants grow stronger and thicker in the future, you can remove the seedlings that grow too weakly and leave the seedlings that grow stronger.
