How to grow bluebells

disinfect

After we receive the bluebell bulbs, the first thing we need to do is disinfect them. The specific method is to soak them in 1000 times diluted carbendazim for about 30 minutes. If mold appears on your bluebell bulbs during storage, it is best to expose them to the sun and then soak them in 1000 times diluted carbendazim.

soil

Choose a flowerpot of a suitable size and put soil in it. It is best to choose fertile, slightly acidic soil with good air permeability, and the distance between flowers should be appropriate. For potted plants, 3 to 5 bulbs can be planted in a flowerpot with a diameter of about 15 cm, and the thickness of the covering soil should be twice the thickness of the bulbs.

Water and fertilizer

When the bluebells are just planted, it is best to water them when the soil is dry and then wet. At first, you can water them thoroughly, but in the later stages, you need to control the amount of watering. In winter when the temperature is lower, no watering is required. In terms of fertilizer, no fertilizer is needed before the leaves of bluebell grow out. Fertilizer can be applied once about ten days before flowering, but it is okay not to apply fertilizer.

It should be noted that bluebells prefer shade, so it is best placed in a place with dappled sunlight. If not, it can grow normally in sufficient sunlight.
