Five "don'ts" for succulents before autumn

Five "don'ts" for succulents before autumn

Do not increase the sunshine too quickly

In summer, everyone will provide shade for succulents to prevent them from being exposed to the strong sun. So in autumn, people will restore light to succulents, but be careful not to expose them to full sunlight all at once. The light exposure time should be increased slowly.

Try not to expose the seedlings to the sun

If you are growing succulents when they are still seedlings, the light should not be too strong. Even in autumn, when you need to increase the light, you should pay attention to gradual increase and not suddenly increase the strong light.

Don't spray during the day

When growing succulent flowers, it is sometimes necessary to spray them with medicine, but be careful not to do it during the day, because the medicine will produce a strong chemical reaction under the light, and the leaves will be damaged. If you need to spray pesticides, you can choose to do it at night without worrying about sun burns.

Do not apply fertilizer at too high a concentration

In autumn, many succulents will resume growing. Everyone feels that the succulents have been hungry for a whole summer and need to be fertilized. However, please note that if you want to fertilize at this time, you cannot use concentrated fertilizer to avoid fertilizer damage. Try to dilute the fertilizer when applying it.

Don't water the leaves.

In autumn, although the sunlight is not as strong as in summer, the combination of sunlight and water droplets and the fact that succulents have not been exposed to sunlight for a long time can easily cause sunburn.

So when watering, be careful not to water on the leaves, and don't water at noon.
