Cultivation methods and precautions of peach beauty

How to cultivate peach beauty

soil

Peach Beauty likes loose, well-drained and breathable sandy soil. In home planting, you can use peat mixed with perlite and cinder, and cover the surface with a shallow layer of clean fine river sand to create a distance between the plant and the soil and make it more breathable.

Watering

Like other succulents, Peach Beauty is more drought-resistant and prefers a dry environment. Therefore, we adhere to the principle of "watering when dry and watering thoroughly" and do not water unless the soil is dry. If there is too much water, the leaves will fall off. As long as you water less on a regular basis, you can greatly avoid this situation.

illumination

The peach beauty likes a sunny and warm environment. In an environment with abundant light, the color becomes more pink and bright, and the plant shape becomes more beautiful and compact. Therefore, when raising them at home, we should place them in an open space where they can receive sufficient light.

Things to note when raising peach beauties

Avoid standing water

When watering, avoid water accumulation at the bottom of the pot, otherwise it will cause root rot; and avoid water accumulation in the core of the leaves, which will cause core rot.

illumination

Peach Beauty has a strong tendency to move towards light. If the light is uneven, they will grow in a certain direction, the branches will bend, and the plant shape will be unsightly. Therefore, it is best to rotate the pot frequently so that all sides of the plant can receive light evenly.

prune

If you want to have a beautiful peach beauty, you need to pay attention to pruning it regularly. If it is not pruned, its stem will grow bare and upward; after "beheading", side branches will grow in large numbers, causing the plants to grow in groups.
