How to maintain Biguanghuan at home

Suitable temperature for growth

The suitable temperature for the growth of Aglaonema is generally 15-25 degrees, and not lower than 5 degrees in winter.

When the temperature exceeds 35℃, the whole plant will wither and enter a dormant period directly.

soil

Peat, vermiculite, and perlite can generally be selected for artificial cultivation, and a large amount of granular soil (which is conducive to drainage and air permeability) should be used. Deeper pots should be used for plants with well-developed root systems.

Water and fertilizer management

Watering: Water thoroughly during the growing season when the soil is dry, and no water is needed during the dormant period.

Fertilization: Thin fertilizer can be applied during the growing period, but not too frequently.

Reproduction method

The main way of propagation of Aglaonema is through sowing, but it can also be propagated by division.

Things to note when raising Biguanghuan

Bi Guanghuan winter hibernation

It is normal for the Green Ring to wither during its dormant period. It does not mean the death of the plant. Never throw away the withered plant!

Summer maintenance of Biguanghuan

The ears of the green halo ring are very delicate and should be avoided from direct sunlight in summer, otherwise they will easily get burned. If the temperature is too high, the plant will go directly into dormancy and will not wait until winter.
