How to grow peace tree

Breeding time

The peace lily reproduces in April-May and September-October every year, and the most suitable reproduction temperature is 22-28℃.

Growing soil

The best soil for potted peace lilies is humus-based acidic soil that has good air permeability, smooth drainage and is rich in organic matter.

Humidity requirements

The peace thyme tree likes moisture and should be grown in a humid environment. It is not drought-resistant and the soil in the pot should be kept relatively moist. When the weather is dry, water the leaves more often. Spray the leaves once a day and keep the indoor air humidity appropriate, preferably above 60%.

Growth temperature

The best temperature for the growth of peace lily is between 20℃ and 30℃. Small peace lilies are not resistant to low temperatures. If they encounter freezing weather, the bark of the plant will freeze and crack, the plant will wither, and eventually the whole plant will freeze to death. When planted in potted plants at home, the indoor temperature should be kept at no less than 5°C in winter to keep it growing green.

Grow Light

The peace lily likes sunlight and is tolerant to shade and cold, but it cannot be placed in the sun for direct exposure, especially in summer. It must be shaded to a certain extent. The most appropriate shaded area is about 50% of its area, otherwise the sunlight will burn the leaves. In winter, it can be exposed to sunlight without any shielding.
