What to do if growth is slow?

Will the flowers die? How to stop it from blooming?

Some succulents will die after flowering, the most common of which are succulents in the Agave family. For Agave plants, the old mother plant will shrink and die after flowering. Simply cutting off the flower stems of the stem plant can prevent flowering. However, although the mother plant dies, new small plants will grow on both sides, which is the natural renewal of the plant.

Succulent plants such as Crassulaceae and Aizoaceae that are popular on the market generally do not die after flowering. Everyone can enjoy the blooming of succulents without worry.

What to do if you get frostbite?

First you need to check the extent of the frost damage. If the entire plant is rotting and the leaves have water-soaked spots, then I'm sorry, it can't be saved. If part of the plant is frostbitten but still has green stems and leaves, cut off the frozen part and place it in a ventilated and dry place to dry. For example, if the soil of Haworthia is too wet, the stems and leaves of Sedum plants will grow leggy; if too much fertilizer is applied to plants of the Sedum genera, Sempervivum, Sempervivum, and Senecio, the leaves will grow leggy; and if too much fertilizer is applied to some varieties of Echeveria, the stems and leaves will grow leggy.

What to do if you have scars?

Flower lovers will find water-like scars on the leaves of succulents. The main reason is excessive watering or water droplets remaining on the succulents. Once a succulent plant is scarred, it cannot be restored and you can only wait for the succulent plant to replace new leaves on its own!

What to do if leaves turn into water?

A novice plant grower ignores his plants for a long time, then looks back and wonders, oh my god, have they disappeared? In fact, the succulent has turned into water. Usually, if you water too much, the leaves of succulents will melt and become transparent, and fall off at the slightest touch. Once transparent leaves are found, they need to be removed in time to avoid affecting the growth of other leaves. Then stop watering and keep the soil in the pot dry. If the waterlogging is serious or even root rot occurs, the roots need to be cut off, placed in a ventilated place to dry, and then planted in the soil to take root. How to survive the winter?

Most succulents must overwinter indoors in a sunny location. Therefore, when the temperature is low in winter, succulents should be moved indoors. If the air is not circulated or the humidity is high, the succulents will become sick. To avoid this situation, it is best to ventilate the room once every 1 to 2 days, and generally once every 2 to 3 days to avoid direct cold wind.
