Why is the jujube tree considered an evil tree?

The saying that the jujube tree is an evil tree is actually incorrect. Planting a jujube tree at home is also a good omen. Because the jujube tree bears a lot of fruit and has a long lifespan, it is considered a symbol of many children, a large house, and the early birth of a son in Feng Shui. Moreover, the pronunciation of the word "Zao" in jujube tree sounds like "Zao", so people expanded the meaning of planting jujube trees at home to mean being one step ahead of others and getting the upper hand. These rules actually have no basis in reality; they are just good wishes in people’s hearts. However, the jujube tree is highly adaptable and can grow even in poor and arid conditions, so if you plant it at home, you can harvest the fruit without careful care.

How to plant a jujube tree

Planting time: Date trees can be planted in spring and autumn, but the survival rate is relatively high in spring.

Planting method: Prepare a planting hole with a diameter of about 80 cm and a depth of 60-80 cm, and apply farmyard manure. Place the grafted jujube tree seedlings in the planting hole and backfill the soil. After backfilling, you can lift the seedlings appropriately, then fill the soil to the root neck and tamp the topsoil.
