2. Family harmony: The lotus is homophonic with the word “和” (harmony), so it symbolizes family harmony and happiness. It can be placed in the living room or dining room, representing peace, harmony and smooth sailing.

3. Many children bring more blessings

Because the lotus pod is embedded with numerous lotus seeds, it is a tradition to use the lotus or lotus pod to pray for many children or for the early birth of a son.
