Cultivation methods and precautions of copper coin grass

Cultivation methods and precautions of copper coin grass

1. Flower soil

The pennywort is suitable for growing in more breathable and fertile flower soil. Therefore, when raising it, you can use leaf mold and river sand to prepare its flower soil. Leaf mold is relatively fertile, and after adding river sand, it has good air permeability, so it is very suitable for its growth.

2. Sunlight

It grows best in semi-shady environments. Because it has a high shade tolerance, but is not resistant to strong light and is easily sunburned. Therefore, when raising it, you should place it in a location with relatively weak light and give it 4-6 hours of sunlight every day. However, be careful not to deprive it of sunlight for a long time, otherwise it will easily suffer from leaf rot.

3. Water

It likes humidity, especially in summer, when the evaporation is relatively large, so it needs to be replenished with water in time. Not only should you water the plants in time, you should also spray some water mist around them to increase the humidity. However, in winter, you need to control watering, and it is best to keep the flower soil slightly moist and dry.

4. Nutrients

Because it grows very quickly, it has high requirements for nutrients. During the growing season it is best to apply fertilizer every 2-3 weeks to meet its needs.

5. Notes

Also, because it grows very fast, it is easy to grow many branches. This will make the plant look messy. At this time, it is necessary to trim and shape it in time to keep it beautiful.
