How to take care of the newly bought golden diamond

How to take care of the newly bought golden diamond

1. Change the soil

It is best not to change the soil for the golden diamond you just bought home. Because the golden diamond is still in the potting stage, changing the soil can easily cause root damage. In the later stage, it can be replaced with a slightly acidic soil rich in humus.

2. Lighting

After you bring your gold diamond home, you can expose it to appropriate amounts of sunlight every day, but be careful not to expose it to too strong sunlight. The remaining time should be placed in a semi-shaded place such as the living room of the home for cultivation. At the same time, be careful not to make it too dark to avoid damaging the plant.

3. Watering

Golden diamond likes a relatively humid environment. After you buy the golden diamond home, you need to keep it sufficiently watered, but be careful not to accumulate water and damage the root system. At the same time, you can spray water on the plant to maintain the surrounding humidity, provide a humid environment for the golden diamond, and allow it to pass the potting period faster.

4. Temperature

Newly bought golden diamonds are relatively fragile and very afraid of cold, so the surrounding environment should be controlled at around 25 degrees. This will not only prevent the golden diamonds from being frostbitten, but also allow them to adapt to the new environment faster.
