Cultivation methods and precautions of green cloud grass

Cultivation methods and precautions of green cloud grass

1. Breeding methods

1. Soil: Green cloud grass is suitable for growing in acidic soil. If the soil is relatively loose and has good drainage and air permeability, the roots will breathe and grow better. If you prepare the potting soil yourself, you need to use peat soil, loam and sand and mix them in equal proportions.

2. Light: Green cloud grass is usually grown in a semi-shaded environment. If the light is too strong, the plant will easily be sunburned, which will not only affect photosynthesis but may also cause its death. Be sure to provide shade in the summer, or place it in a bright place indoors so that it receives scattered light.

3. Watering: Green cloud grass needs sufficient water during its growth process. It has poor drought resistance and once it lacks water, it will easily lead to the death of the plant. Spray it with water every day to keep the soil moist, but reduce watering in winter because the low temperature reduces the need for water.

4. Fertilization: Fertilization for the green cloud grass is mainly concentrated during the growing season, usually once every half a month. The fertilizer should be a nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium compound fertilizer. The nitrogen content should not be too high, otherwise it will cause the plant to grow too tall. When winter comes, the plant growth basically stops and you don't need to fertilize it.

2. Precautions

Green cloud grass is a fern. If you want to propagate it, you can only use the cutting method. Usually, you need to insert 10 cm long stems in a shady and humid place, spray it appropriately, and it will take root soon.
