The effects of Lycoris:

Antipyretic and analgesic: Lycoris radiata contains an element called lycorine, which has a good regulating effect on the human body. It can reduce the temperature of feverish physique and have a more obvious pain-relieving effect on the painful area.

Antibacterial and anti-inflammatory: Lycoris radiata can help the human body resist diseases caused by bacterial infections.

Induce vomiting: It can help the human body induce vomiting. Used in cases of food poisoning.

It also has the effect of treating bruises and snake bites.

Edible effect:

Lycoris is also an edible plant, and there are many ways to eat it. The simplest way is to eat it directly, or boil it with water and drink it as tea, or squeeze it into juice.

Tips:

①Treat food poisoning, phlegm caused by qi stagnation, and phlegm caused by heat: 1.5 grams to 3 grams of fresh Lycoris radiata, decocted with clear water, and taken orally, can induce vomiting.

②Relieve water retention in the body: 8 fresh Lycoris radiata, 80 peeled castor seeds. Mash them together and apply on Yongquan acupoint for 24 hours. If it is not healed, apply it for another 24 hours.

③Treatment of jaundice: Crush 1 fresh Lycoris radiata bulb and 7 peeled castor seeds together and apply them to the soles of the feet once a day until the symptoms disappear.

④Treatment of epilepsy: Boil 3 to 9 grams of fresh Lycoris radiata with water and take it.
