The Flower Language of Pear Trees

The flower language of the pear tree is innocence, pure love, and eternal separation.

The cultural meaning of the pear tree

Throughout history, there have been numerous poems describing and praising pear trees. As an aesthetic image created by literati, pear blossoms have unique beauty and value. The pear blossoms are pure white, with icy skin, charming and graceful, just like fairies descending to earth, the embodiment of gentleness; on the other hand, the cold has just been shaken off, leaving behind green leaves, and only the pear blossoms on the tree catch the eye, reflecting the perfect unity of hardness and softness. Lu You, a poet in the Tang Dynasty, wrote the lines "The pale powder and clear fragrance are from the same family; peach and plum blossoms are not allowed to take over their youth", which expresses the unique personality of pear blossoms. The lyrics by Zhang Zhihan of the Yuan Dynasty describe the beauty of pear blossoms in the most exquisite way: "As graceful as ice, with bones as jade, the east wind tries to change her innocence. Her soft red makeup is brand new. Fortunately, she has slender hands and applies it evenly on her face. She is slightly annoyed because she comes late to wash off her makeup. Her skin is fragrant with musk, which makes the spring crabapple blossoms shameful." It is full of beauty and gives people both visual and spiritual enjoyment.
