They had no choice but to hold the beautiful lotus symbolizing peace in their hands and hug each other and commit suicide.

Later, the clan leaders of both sides knew about this matter. They felt very regretful for their wrong behavior and wanted to reconcile. They burned incense and swore an oath, and finally reconciled as before.

The couple was eventually buried together. On their graves, clusters of plants resembling the Ornamental Flower grew, with beautiful lotus-like flowers on them. These are the Ornamental Flowers that people are familiar with today.
