Exorcising demons, my heart is burning

What we usually think of as poinsettia flowers are actually leaves. They are not made up of petals, but a scattered bud formed by more than 10 bracts, and their color is bright red. But it is this bright red color that gives people a festive and warm feeling, especially in the cold winter, this bright red color makes people feel as warm as a stove, and their hearts inevitably become hot. At Christmas, poinsettia is the best flower to display. It looks like holding hands to congratulate people. Such decoration symbolizes exorcising demons and monsters. My heart is burning.

Celebrate the new life together

In some weddings, poinsettia can also be used as decoration to add to the joy and celebration. In addition, poinsettia blooms during New Year’s Day and the Spring Festival, so it also has the beautiful meaning of celebrating a new life.

legend

A long time ago, in the south of Mexico City in America, there was a village with fertile soil, abundant water resources, and very developed agriculture and animal husbandry, and people lived a peaceful and happy life. But one spring, a mudslide suddenly broke out, and a huge rock cut off the water source. The village began to suffer from water shortage and drought, and the land became cracked. At this time, there was a brave man in the village named Porcherima. In order to solve the drought problem, he chiseled the stone day and night regardless of his personal safety. Finally, the boulder was finally chiseled open, and clear water gushed out violently, but the warriors were washed away by the flood due to long-term fatigue. The villagers searched for him everywhere, but to no avail.

Time passed, and after a long time, a shepherd found a beautiful flower by the water, blooming bright red. When the villagers learned about this, they were shocked and thought that this was very similar to the warrior from Porcherima who loved to wear red clothes. So, in order to commemorate him, people gave this flower a name - Poinsettia, which is what we call poinsettia today.
