How to eat saffron

Saffron Tea

Soaking saffron in water is the most common way to consume it. Generally, soak 5 to 8 roots in water each time, once a day or every other day. The correct steps for soaking water are:

Wash the glass and set aside. Place 3-8 saffron roots in a clean glass.

Brew saffron with boiling water, let it sit for a few minutes and then drink it. Refill the cup 4 or 5 times and then take it together with the filaments.

Saffron wine

Saffron medicinal wine: 3-4 grams of saffron, 1 jin (500 ml) of white wine, soak for a week and drink, 20-30 ml per day.

Saffron Porridge

Method 1

Add 100 grams of rice and 10-20 saffron roots to appropriate amount of water and cook into porridge once a day. It is suitable for traumatic pain caused by qi stagnation and blood stasis, chronic hepatitis, coronary heart disease, angina pectoris, sequelae of stroke, etc.

Method 2

Soak 10-20 saffron roots in boiling water, boil 100 grams of rice, add the saffron water, and then cook it into porridge and it is ready to eat.

Saffron Cheese

After heating the fresh milk for 15 minutes, add 1 spoon of white vinegar, continue to boil, and let it cool for 15 minutes until it solidifies into curd-like state.

Place the curd on a plate, mix with honey and sprinkle with saffron. Take half a bowl of milk tea, add tsampa, mix well, knead into small balls with your hands, and serve with cheese.

Saffron Chicken Rolls

Soak saffron in warm water for 5 minutes. Mix eggs, flour and starch, spread them in a frying pan and fry them to make egg skin for later use.

Chop the chicken breast into paste, add a little salt and chicken stock, wrap it with egg skin, roll it into a beautiful shape, and steam it over high heat for 20 minutes.

Bring saffron water to a boil, add salt, chicken stock and starch to thicken. Pour the bright red sauce over the chicken rolls.

Saffron Baby Cabbage

The soup is cooked with baby cabbage, saffron and other ingredients, the soup is bright in color and the dish is nutritious. Saffron baby cabbage has a bright and thick orange-red soup, which is made from saffron.
