Chrysanthemum fertilization method, what fertilizer to use

Chrysanthemum fertilization method, what fertilizer to use

1. Fertilization time

Chrysanthemum has relatively high requirements for fertilizer, and proper fertilization is helpful for its growth and flowering. Specifically, fertilizer is needed when planting chrysanthemums, as well as when the plants are in their vigorous growth and flowering periods.

2. Fertilizer Types

Different types of fertilizers are needed when chrysanthemums are in different stages. When planting it, you need to use base fertilizer, and solid fertilizer is used at this time. When it is in the growth stage, more nitrogen fertilizer is needed to promote the germination of its branches and leaves. When it is in its flowering period, it is best to use more phosphorus fertilizer and potassium fertilizer to promote its flowering.

3. Fertilization method

1. For base fertilizer, you need to mix it in the soil and then plant the plants. For fertilizers used during the growth period, they need to be diluted before being applied to the soil surface, making sure to apply them evenly.

2. The frequency of fertilization should not be too high. Generally speaking, once every half a month can meet its requirements. If the plant is malnourished, the interval between fertilization can be shortened appropriately.

3. In addition, the amount of fertilizer should not be too much, otherwise the roots of the plant will easily rot.

IV. Precautions

When chrysanthemums are in a dormant period, fertilizer should not be applied, as applying fertilizer at this time can easily cause fertilizer damage.
