Cultivation methods and precautions of hydroponic aloe vera

Cultivation methods and precautions of hydroponic aloe vera

1. Breeding methods

1. Sunlight

After planting, it needs to be placed in a cool place and never exposed to direct sunlight. In order to allow its roots to grow normally, we can cover the lower half of its container with black cloth. After the roots have grown well, you can let it enjoy the sunlight slowly. Don’t let the time be too long at the beginning, and then you can gradually increase the time.

2. Change the nutrient solution regularly

We cannot add nutrient solution before it grows roots. Wait until it grows hydroponic roots and has almost adapted to the hydroponic environment. Only then can we add nutrient solution to it. But after that, it needs to be replaced every half a month or a month.

3. Summer maintenance

In summer, because the high temperature will cause it to enter a dormant state, it is best to move it to a semi-shaded place.

4. Winter maintenance

In winter, as long as the indoor temperature is above 5 degrees, it can survive the winter safely. But it needs to be placed in a place with more light indoors. If you want it to bloom earlier, you can adjust the room temperature to above 10.

2. Precautions

1. Do not use mixed water

When growing it at home, many people like to pour tea water or rice soup into the flowerpot, but this is not allowed for hydroponics. It is best to use clean water when hydroponically growing plants, and you should also pay attention to changing the water frequently, preferably once every 2 to 3 days. During this time, you should also remove rotten roots in time and clean the container to ensure the water quality is clean.

2. Replace the nutrient solution on time

After some time of hydroponics, it will grow fibrous roots, and at this time it needs certain nutrients to supply its growth, so we can add appropriate amount of nutrient solution according to the situation, and replace it every half a month or a month.
