Pinching can encourage more branches of the cinnabar roots, making the whole plant look more fluffy and fuller. Depending on the shape of the plant, you should also cut off the branches of the cinnabar root that affect its appearance, including branches that are too long or too thin, dead branches, or diseased branches. You should also frequently trim diseased and yellow leaves to keep the cinnabar root in the best ornamental state.
