Why are the leaves of jade trees soft? What should I do?

Why are the leaves of jade trees soft? What should I do?

1. Root rot

Reason: When caring for jade plants, you need to pay attention to the application of water and fertilizer and control the amount. If you water or fertilize too much, it will cause a large amount of water and fertilizer to accumulate near the roots, causing root rot, affecting the plant's transport function, and making the leaves soften.

Solution: Control the amount of water and fertilizer, dig out the roots and check them, remove the rotten roots, prepare new soil and replant.

2. Too much light

Reason: Jade plant likes soft diffuse light and is very afraid of direct sunlight. Once the sunlight is too strong, the leaves will be burned, the water will evaporate, and the leaves will wilt and become soft.

Solution: Once exposed to the sun, move the jade plant to a cool place in time and spray water to promote recovery.

3. Poor ventilation

Reason: Jade plant needs good air circulation to grow. Good ventilation is conducive to growth. If the growing environment is too hot and stuffy, it will cause the leaves to become soft.

Solution: Keep the jade plant in a well-ventilated place. If it is kept indoors, you can open the windows more often to let in air.

4. Lack of water

Reason: Although this plant cannot grow in a watery environment, it needs proper watering during its growth. If it is not watered for a long time, the soil will dry out and lack water to maintain growth.

Solution: Provide water in time according to growth needs, and water in time if the soil is dry.
