Why Phalaenopsis doesn't bloom

1. The light is too weak

One of the reasons is that it is not exposed to light for a long time. Although it is afraid of direct sunlight, if it is in a dark environment for a long time, the flowers will not be able to bloom, affecting the quality of flowering. It can be exposed to scattered light appropriately and placed in a bright place indoors for maintenance.

2. The temperature is too low

If the temperature at which it grows in winter is lower than 15℃ and there is no suitable temperature for growth, the plant will grow poorly, the flower buds will shrink, and the flowers will not be able to bloom. You can observe the weather conditions and move them into the greenhouse in time according to the temperature to ensure the temperature range.

3. Lack of water

If water is not applied according to the condition of the plant during the growth period, it will also affect the differentiation of flower buds and be detrimental to the later opening of flowers. When the temperature is high in summer, you can apply it more often to ensure that enough water evaporates and that the plants do not wilt due to lack of water.

4. Improper fertilization

Applying too much nitrogen fertilizer and an unbalanced ratio is also one of the reasons, causing the plants to start to grow tall but not bloom. According to the growth characteristics, fertilizers with high content of potassium and phosphorus can be applied to ensure a balanced ratio.
