What is the matter with the black leaves of bean curd? What should I do?

1. Improper watering

Reason: Chinese evergreen likes a humid environment when growing, but if it is watered too much or too much, it will cause a large amount of water to accumulate in the soil, which will make it difficult for the roots to breathe and cause the roots to gradually rot. Water temperature is also a very important reason. If the water used for watering is too cold, it will also cause black spots to appear on the leaves of the plant.

Solution: Control the amount of water when watering. If there is water accumulation, place the plant in a well-ventilated place to promote the evaporation of excess water as much as possible.

2. Improper fertilization

Reason: Reasonable fertilization can promote the growth of Chinese evergreen. Once too much fertilizer is applied, or uncomposted organic fertilizer is applied, it may burn the roots and make it difficult for the plant to grow normally.

Solution: Be sure to use decomposed fertilizers for daily fertilization. If the fertilizer is too concentrated, water it appropriately to dilute it.

3. The temperature is too high

Reason: Chinese evergreen does not like hot weather. The high temperature in summer is not conducive to its growth. At the beginning, it will cause black spots if the degree is mild. If the situation is serious in the later stage, it will directly cause rot.

Solution: Take precautions to keep the Chinese evergreen away from strong light in the summer. When the temperature is high, move it to a ventilated and cool place.

4. Low temperature

Reason: Black spots can occur not only due to high temperatures, but also due to lower temperatures in winter.

Solution: In winter, be sure to move it to a warm indoor place. Do not let it freeze outdoors. The temperature should be kept above 10℃.
